Wednesday

hiiiiiiii
i havent posted for a while but that's because i've been busy busy busy
preparing for my new show!!! it starts TONIGHT!
-------------------------------------------------------------->
now the show is called 'ART SINCE 2008' and its gonna be a BIG surprise seeing the work i've made for it. you won't be expecting it.

HERE's the press release...........................................

and INVITE...

Art since 2008. New work by ten artists.
Wednesday 12 - Sunday 16 December. Open Daily 1pm - 6pm.
Wednesday late until 9pm. Sunday 1pm private view brunch.
The Very Good Room. No. 0 Orsman Rd. Off Kingsland Rd. E2 8AS.
Just around the corner from Melange Social Club.

It is the future, a Tuesday morning. Two people have just spent an hour and a half looking at a medium sized exhibition of new work by an emerging contemporary artist.

John: This exhibition is really pretty good. Anyway, do you fancy a cup of coffee? It's a shame there's not a café here.

Barbara: Shh... don't say that, someone might hear.

John: What do you mean?

Barbara: That was the first act of the cultural revolution, separation of gallery and café.

John: You mean they used to have one?

Barbara: No, not here. But in the old galleries. In London.

John: There were galleries in London?

Barbara: Thousands of them, everywhere. They closed down factories and shops to make them, they even did it with the power stations.

John: That's terrible, so was this always a gallery?

Barbara: They're not allowed to say what it used to be, or the space might overshadow the work, all you can say is that "it is now a gallery."

John: Crazy, the cultural revolution was more drastic than I thought. How did you hear about this show anyway?

Barbara: I didn't, I just assumed something good would be on. There always is.

John: I see, but wouldn't it be good if the gallery let people know about shows in advance. Maybe they could send out a press release, with a brief description of the artist's work. Or if they told people when it opened people could come and all see it together.

Barbara: That sounds awful.

John: They could serve drinks.

Barbara: My God!

I'll be there from 6pm
